Bron Afon Community Housing Group have chosen Sustain to undertake comprehensive heating and hot water system upgrades for The Tower, Cwmbran in South Wales. The work encompasses the design, supply and installation of a new commercial boiler system which provides heating and hot water to a large number of tenants.
The flagship building, the highest in Cwmbran, has already received external wall insulation and triple glazing. Now, the new boiler system, which incorporates the latest boiler technology, heat meters, consumer controls and new pipework insulation, will improve efficiency whilst improving the heating provision and comfort for residents. Through working on the project, Sustain will help Bron Afon meet their ongoing target to provide efficient, cost effective and quality services for their customers.
Sustain’s expert low carbon engineers and project managers will work throughout the entire lifecycle of the project, providing technical design and specification of the boiler system and controls, project management and oversight of install and post commissioning support and maintenance.
‘We are delighted to have been chosen to lead the upgrade programme for The Tower, Cwmbran. Bron Afon Housing Association is owned, operated and developed by its staff and members and we look forward to providing a new boiler system that will benefit them for years to come.”
