The Anthesis Group, a leading global sustainability services and solutions provider, has today announced the acquisition of Sustain, the Bristol-based energy and carbon management solutions provider.
The tenth acquisition since the formation of Anthesis in September 2013, Sustain is a leading UK energy and carbon management company dedicated to providing cost and carbon efficiencies. Through a team of expert engineers, consultants and project managers Sustain design, deliver and manage energy resources for clients in public and private sector organisations.
The acquisition of Sustain deepens the current Anthesis offering in the energy and carbon management market. Sustain’s project management services and turnkey solutions, alongside consulting, fit with the Anthesis ambition to become the market leading sustainability services and solutions provider. Anthesis was founded on the belief that the market wanted to move from talking about sustainability to delivering sustainable solutions.
Stuart McLachlan, CEO of Anthesis Group, said “Joining forces with Sustain allows us to enhance the Group’s offering in the energy efficiency market, an area where we are seeing particular growth. We are now able to support our clients in the end-to-end design and implementation of energy and carbon management projects”; he continued “there are great synergies for Anthesis and Sustain, with strong alignment between our delivery ethos and driving business value through sustainability.”
Anthesis is one of the few global organisations specialising in sustainability, and has established an extensive international platform. It is focused on strengthening its position in local markets and as an implementation partner for its global clients. The acquisition of Sustain further enhances Anthesis Group’s UK presence in London and Bristol.
Tobias Parker, CEO of Sustain, said “We are excited to become part of the Anthesis Group, bringing our experience in energy and carbon management into the portfolio. With the ratification of the Paris Agreement, the global energy system is clearly evolving and being part of the Group allows us to play on a bigger stage through their global reach. We are looking forward to joining forces with a talented and committed leadership team, helping organisations on their journey to a sustainable future.”
Joining the Anthesis Group leadership team will be Tobias Parker, Managing Director.
