Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP)

Sustain are working with suppliers, generators, local authorities and social housing landlords to deliver efficient and effective programmes of work to help achieve the Community Energy Saving Programme (CESP) obligation using its existing programme, project management and consultancy services.

Sustain has over 10 years experience delivering innovative programmes for a range of clients including utilities, local authorities and social housing landlords. In particular, Sustain has delivered programmes for the major utility companies under the Energy Efficiency Commitment (EEC) and now the Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT).  Sustain has worked with over 200 social housing landlords and local authorities to deliver energy efficiency programmes. Sustain will build on these relationships and experience to deliver carbon saving programmes under CESP.

• FREE scheme assessment and development with access to funding

Sustain are able to use their experience in establishing CESP schemes to assess proposals and advise housing providers on funding maximisation. For proposals with strong potential Sustain are able to provide a dedicated Project Developer to expand initial CESP concepts into ready-to-go schemes. 

Sustain have access to funding and are able to make this available to suitable CESP schemes. 

• Mapping of eligible areas

Sustain are able to quickly determine whether a particular scheme, property or block of flats sits within an eligible CESP area.
