The UK Carbon Reporting Framework is being developed by BRE in partnership with Sustain, Forum for the Future, British Airways and Deloitte.
Canapés and drinks will be served from the start of the event at 4.30 pm.
The reception will provide you with an overview of how the UK Carbon Reporting Framework will work, and the opportunity to hear from Jonathan Porritt on the importance of supporting UK based carbon reduction projects as a part of a balanced carbon management strategy.
The UK Carbon Reporting Framework is an innovative new scheme which will:
- Unlock funding for community benefit carbon reduction projects across the UK
- Create a database of qualifying UK carbon reduction projects available to be supported
- Provide the opportunity for organisations to quantify and report on the carbon savings from UK projects they support
- Provide transparency and consistency in the way project cost and carbon savings are calculated and reported
