Energy Company Obligation (ECO)

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme in Great Britain to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty.

Sustain has over 10 years’ experience in delivering seamless, compliant and cost effective energy efficient solutions through ECO. We have partnered with many of the ‘big six’ energy companies and have had consistently great feedback about the service we provide.

The legislation places an obligation on energy suppliers of a certain size to meet carbon reduction and fuel saving targets within a given period. In order to meet this target, energy suppliers provide funding for a variety of energy saving measures for domestic properties. Sustain are proud to be a trusted partner of a number of energy suppliers to deliver these measures. We have a proven track record established over 10 years of providing cost effective and compliant programmes.

Are you looking for funding?

If you are a landlord considering improvements to your domestic stock or a contractor installing energy efficient measures then ECO funding could be a viable option for you. Eligible measures include loft and wall insulation, individual and communal heating. Speak to one of our ECO team experts to find out more about options that might be open to you.

Having funding for improvements such as boiler replacements or insulation can significantly reduce the payback times for the measures. At Sustain, we can guide you through the process, help you access the funding and complete the necessary paperwork.
